Trump U Is Nothing Compared To Laureate Education

Clinton U (my personal name for Laureate) has been sued. I am surprised you didn't know that. A class action was filed in the U.S. District Court in Maryland, but it was dismissed in 2015. The case was Travis et al v. Walden University LLC. While Laureate Education was not found guilty, neither has Trump's university.

What is interesting is that the case against Laureate was dismissed as a result of a joint stipulation; however, the reasons for said stipulation are not known. I believe – though I cannot prove – that plaintiffs were compensated somehow.

As for Trump, his school has received both criticism and praise. Some students used their education as a springboard for success and others did not. Since both these groups had access to the same materials and teaching methods, it is at least possible that individual failures were due to the lack of individual abilities and efforts and not because of the university's recruitment or teaching methods; however, I doubt that any Hilarious Clinton admirers would admit it.

As to which person's conduct is worse, this is a no-brainer folks. If everything said about Trump's university is true, the worst that can be said is that his promotional methods were misleading causing false hopes and false expectations, not for all students but at least for some. If everything about Hilarious Clitoris is true, then both her and her husband used political clout to support an on-line university that had a history of false advertising and academic failure (see links below). This is similar to what Trump is accused of although Trump did not put the reputation of the U.S. Government at risk by promoting a scam.

What is the biggest issue by far is this: Unlike Trump, Hillary engaged in notoriously criminal conduct by siphoning government funds to Laureate in exchange for husband Billy getting $16.5 million for being the universities spokesperson from 2010-2015. During the same time Billy Boy was getting this outrageous compensation, Hilarious Clinton’s State Dept. pumped at least $55 million to a group run by Laureate’s founder and chairman, Douglas Becker, a man with strong ties to the Clinton Global Initiative. Laureate has donated between $1 million and $5 million (donations are reported in ranges, not exact amounts) to the Clinton Foundation. Progressive billionaire George Soros is also a Laureate financial backer. Everything about Hillary Clinton stinks.

Conclusion: What Trump is accused of pales in comparison to the criminal conduct of Hilarious Clinton. The accusations against Trump deserved no more than a three-inch column on page 7. What Hillary did should have been headline news in multiple editions yet Trump is being almost constantly hammered while on the Clinton side nothing but the sound of crickets. Anyone who thinks the press is unbiased is a damn fool.
