You may have a point............HOWEVER, each earmark MUST be clearly exposed, identifying the elected official who threw in a new post office named after his sorry ass, in a bill that regarded education.

Unbelievable. Let's bring back the tawdry tactic of bribing members with tax payer dollars...

Actually they want to bring back limited earmarks but add an accountability measure to it.
The issue before was that earmarks were overused, and there were no checks and balances to keep a lid on them before.
