There's another view.... and I'm not agreeing with it necessarily, so don't kill the messenger, but some people are saying that this whole thing is a sort of "controlled demolition"of the old financial system, for a new system to rise from the ashes. A digital currency system, where everything can be tracked. I do believe that that's the future, at some point. But again I'm not necessarily saying that that's what's going on now. Just relaying what some others are saying.
