Without doubt, Trump serves as an asset to the democrat candidates with his way over-the-top, moronic comments that have made him the laughing stock of so many, and the personification of an embarrassment to many sane republicans.

However, Trump also serves a second purpose in this exciting primary campaigns; that is, in comparison to other republicans, they ALL begin to look much more stately and serious. In other words, Trump clown-like rhetoric have actually given the other candidates of his party additional status that they may or may not deserve.
