In a Republic, actually
“For someone who talks so much about winning, President Donald Trump is racking up quite the losing streak.

The electoral earthquake in Pennsylvania set to send Democrat Conor Lamb to the House of Representatives from a district Trump won by 20 points in 2016 is sparking new questions about the President's personal political potency.

That's because state Rep. Rick Saccone is not the first GOP candidate during Trump's term to win the President's blessing and promptly lose. Trump-backed candidates Luther Strange, Roy Moore and Ed Gillespie also tanked in Senate and gubernatorial races in Alabama and Virginia.

Those busted endorsements suggest that for all his mystical connection with his base, Trump is not necessarily an asset for GOP candidates in special elections. They may also be a sign that the President will be more of a liability than an asset for Republicans come midterm elections in November.

While some Republicans are in denial over the implications of Tuesday's special election in Pennsylvania's 18th Congressional District, others are concluding that relying on the President in reelection races may not be a sure bet.”

Bullshit.

Another Total Lie.

You can't fix up a bad candidate with lipstick even if you're Superman. Look at what Obama did for the Democrats, he didn't just cost them a minor election only good for a few months anyway, he cost them:

THE HOUSE.

THE SENATE.

THE WHITE HOUSE.

NUMEROUS STATE GOVERNORSHIPS.

AND NOW THE SUPREME COURT.

I think Connor Lamb is fine, pro-life, pro-guns, pro-law, pro-military, pro-American, .. anti-Democratic Party leadership and hopeful to show results and work with Trump .. nothing like the cry baby liberals and their media maggots, Congress and around the USMB.

Meh...Trump won Missouri by 18.5 points...but on the same ballot, Republican incumbent Senator Roy Blunt only won by 2.8%. Blunt was running against a very Lamb like moderate Democrat...a pro-gun veteran that was once a Republican. All candidates aren't equal.

Link to follow.

RealClearPolitics - Election 2016 - Missouri: Trump vs. Clinton

United States Senate election in Missouri, 2016 - Wikipedia

Democrat turnout 75-80%
Republican turnout 50-60%

Candidates matter but that enthusiasm gap is vast and has mostly to do with Trump.

You're in for a surprise.

Nancy P. has pretty well aborted all common sense Democrats (Blue Dogs) from the House, you think he'll go lock step resistance and eat his integrity.? It wouldn't be much of a surprise.

Why can't wingers figure out that this goes back and forth? Each party gets power, wastes it, pisses people off, and gets voted out?

Over and over and over? Proving over and over that neither deserves too much power?

And they act all proud when it's their turn to win.

Too funny.

I found it amusing that the Democrats had to run a conservative in order to manage to get close, then outspend the Republican by what? 5 to 1?

All for a congressional district that is going away at the end of the year.

Yeah, way to go.

He ran on supporting the current abortion laws and was agasting further restrictions

He ran against the tax cuts

He ran against repealing ObamaCare

He ran for expanded background checks for gun buyers.

This myth that he was a conservative is just something your handlers tell you to keep you happy.

That is not all that he is losing at...

The markets have all come to almost a standstill.

Prior to his tax cuts the markets grew at the following rates..

S&P: 18%
DJI: 25%
Nasdaq: 25%
Russell 2000: 12%

Since the tax cuts we are stuck with this...

S&P: 2.5%
DJI: 0%
Nasdaq: 7.7%
Russell 2000: 2.7%
