Okay, let's get this whole story straight.

Iran has shown the ability in the past to disrupt GPS receivers to lure ships into what it claims to be its territorial waters. That is exactly what happened here.

And then, their Rules of Engagement forbade them from defending themselves - unless fired upon first!

So, when they were boarded by armed Iranians, they had no choice but to surrender.

Now, here comes the crap, from the first day of training, one is taught to do no more than give one's name, rank, and serial number when taken captive.

Thus, the boat captain was derelict in his duty to make any kind of apology! Period.

And, I don't care what anyone says but the timing of having this happen when Iran's lapdog Obama was to give a State of the Union address is most unsettling.
