Even Winston Churchill praised Chamberlain. In the 1930s the British public wanted to avoid another world war scenario. So they attempted to work with Germany. That was the norm of the era and it was before Hitler went on a rampage if you will. Although the real problem with Germany wasn’t its war expansion which every person and country of history is guilty of, but rather his genocidal attempts of trying to exterminate all Jews of the world.

Chamberlain is to this day entirely misunderstood by people who do not understand what history is. It is those people who watch a 20 second clip on television and then say oh yeah, there’s Chamberlain the guy who appeased Hitler. And it’s wrong.
