US, Jordan Agree: Israel Should Control Jordan Valley

Why is Jordan such a weak nation?
You really need to do your own research Poindexter. ....

When one points out that the US or Jordan are puppet nations, has that poster done research?
Arab royalty is comprised of selfish gamblers and orgy loving familes.
They willingly allow US troops to guard their oil fields and castles.
Along with this unwillingness to spend money on their own state of the art military comes payback to the US.

Well, if the US and jordan have agreed on it then the palis should just grease up their bunghole, sit back and enjoy it.

So israel is willing to give up the west bank as long as they can keep troops there?

Heheh...

Dhimmi Alfalfa is going to call up the King of Jordan and ask him why he took this action.

What action?

There is no action.

There is no written binding agreement.

A peace agreement has to be between the parties.

The parties are Israel and Palestine.

Jordan is not a party to any proposed peace plan.

All we have is a propaganda report of support for a particular plan, allegedly supported by certain people.

Is anyone stopping you from also contacting the King of Jordan and ask him why he said this?? It would never enter your mind that he doesn't want any more Palestinians coming into his country because they are trouble for him.

Strange how the Muslim convert has no problem with the Turks occupying part of Cyprus.
Now Silly-Sally is even derailing her own thread about Jordan with off topic comments about Turkey and Cyprus.......... :cuckoo:

Nothing silly about Sally, Sunni. She is quite serious and actually on point here. Would you not agree it is inconsistent to support the Turks occupying part of Cyprus while objecting to this latest news from the King of Jordan? If not then wouldn't it be appropriate for Sally to point out the truth on the matter?

Read the thread title and then tell me she hasn't gone off topic as usual. ...

I think your OP is pure propaganda .

I do not believe anything written there.

And I think you are full of it. For a person who is supposed to be a Christian, you sure do ignore what is happening in the Muslim world when it comes to the way Christians are being treated, but you certainly can't stand the fact that the King of Jordan and the U.S. had a meeting of minds. Tell us, Mrs. Sherri, what happened between the previous King of Jordan and the "Palestinians." Surely you must know the history of that.

Israel is opposed to UN Forces only because they want the freedom to attack their neighbors without the hinderance of international law. ...

Anyone with a moral concience & a longing for peace from Palestinians has to love Jordan. Jordan & only Jordan ever established a lasting peace from the Palestinians. And all it took was Black september. When will Israel ever abandon their failed Zionist agenda of peace offerings, a security fence & land concessions & follow the lead of Jordan? LET THERE BE PEACE ALREADY!

As the readers can see, the Palestine Authority doesn't like this, and no doubt the rest of the Arab world doesn't like the idea either. However, Jordan sees why it is necessary for the sake of their own country. The King's no fool when it comes to the "Palestinians."

US, Jordan Agree: Israel Should Control Jordan Valley

The Obama Administration and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan have both reportedly sided with Israel in its demand to retain control over the Jordan Valley in any future peace agreement with the Palestinians.

In a new proposal to both Israel and the Palestinian Authority last week, US Secretary of State John Kerry is said to have suggested that the Jewish state be permitted to maintain a military presence in the strategic Jordan Valley.

The new American position on that matter could be the result of reported Jordanian pressure. According to Israeli newspaper Ma'ariv, Jordan coordinated with Jerusalem to convince Kerry of the crucial importance of continued Israeli army control of the border region.

A remarkable story.
I would have thought differently, but the Instability (aka Arab Barbarity and Turmoil) in the rest of Middle Est has most wanting Stable and humane Israel in charge.
`

You realize, of course, this must mean the Jews are running Jordan!

Of course in the eyes of the anti-Semites, the Jews must be running every Middle East country. Let's face it. The King's father had a lot of trouble in the past which resulted in Black September, and the present King knows what he would be up for when it comes to more "Palestinians" flooding into his country.

Refugee populations are always a problem... In 1948 and 1967 400,000 Palestinians flooded into Jordan..

If the past 40 years haven't proven to all the anti-Semitic nature of the UN, all one need do is learn what those UN "peacekeepers" did when Egypt decided to pick a fight with Israel in 1967. You have heard of the Six Day War, right Princess?

"The United Nations hasn't really improved much in the years since I was there, and it hasn't really improved much at all with respect to Israel ... I was very deeply shocked by the simple anti-Semitism that pervaded the place." - Jeane Kirkpatrick (former US Ambassador to the UN)

Isn't that strange that after World War II there were millions of displaced persons, and somehow these people got resettled many thousands of miles from their original homes to places where they had to learn a new language and a new culture, and yet other Arab countries couldn't take in these refugees, give them citizenship and let them get on with their lives?
