US-UK press comment on MPs' Donald Trump debate - BBC News

The British Parliament made fools of themselves debating whether or not to ban Donald Trump from the UK.

If anything, Trump will be even more popular among those who support him.

A condemnation of Trump from a European country would only bolster their belief that Trump is someone who the establishment hates, and that's a good thing.

Not all Brits are liberal tossers:

The Independent quotes Conservative MP Adam Holloway as saying that Britain should "apologise to the people of the United States" for the petition to ban Mr Trump. It quotes Mr Holloway as saying the debate on whether to ban him from British shores "makes Britain look totalitarian".
