US Women dominate Olympics

I just said that. Players don't want to bother. Management does not want them there. Ya, you're going to pay a guy millions, only to see your money down the drain because he was injured in some retard event.

He was there, he tried out for the team but did not make the cut.

It was not because he did not want to.

Why would he show up for the workouts/tryouts if he did not want to play?

Same thing applies to NASCAR. Young top tier guys like to do Saturday nite racing--in addition to a Sunday race. Sprint cars and such on Saturday. They have energy and grew up on Saturday night racing. If they win, they're lucky to make $5,000. Management tells them to knock it off and race on Sunday only. If you have sponsors paying you millions, you don't race on Saturday making chicken feed.

Maybe he changed his mind. Maybe management talked to him. Why don't you ask him?

All you have to do is look at baseball. The dogs days of summer (basically very late July & August) is the most relatively "boring" time in baseball. And even then, it's far more interesting than Olympic baseball. On top of that, baseball still makes money in August. They're not trading that for some girly fest.

The U.S. culture allows women to devote their lives to trivial athletic competition and training. In other countries, they either don't care to do so or don't have the resources. U.S. dominance is meaningless.

Exactly. I agree. Golf has the Ryder Cup and other international play. Tennis has Wimbledon and that clay court in France. That's their prestige. And, they get a whole lot more money than the cuck infested Olympics.

Baseball is not in the Olympics

After decades of disparaging Title IX as money wasted on women’s sports, we are seeing US women dominate on the global stage

The U.S. won 126 total medals, the most of any country. Of those, women were responsible for a whopping 67.
When it comes to gold medals, China and the U.S. tied with 40 apiece. Team USA has women to thank for 26 of those.

US womens teams also won Gold in Soccer, Basketball and Gymnastics
?

Nobody questioned that US women couldn't dominate in women's sports. The question was do people care as much about women's sports as men's sports as far as interest, ratings, and revenue? and if women wanted a piece of the most elite pie, could they compete with men for it?

You're attacking point A by laying out an argument for point Z.

Title IX was derided as wasting money on women’s sports, The Paris Olympics proved otherwise. In fact, investing in women’s sports is yielding more Gold Medals than investing in men’s sports

Again, you're talking about money to medals.

The two aren't related. You can win a gold medal in expressive dance or ping pong and nobody cares.

Meanwhile, you can be the last place NFL team and make millions/billions.

Your argument makes no sense.

This thread is about the Paris Olympics
There were no NFL members in it
