Consider for a moment how absurd this is. Preparing a chicken is so easy anybody in this thread could do it in their own kitchen, but instead we're going to ship them to the other side of the planet - using vast amounts of incredibly inefficient bunker fuel - AND THEN BACK.

Yea idiot, he has to make his ties in China, thanks to US policy that rewards companies for using Chinese labor. That's exactly what he wants to change. But obviously it's more important for you lefties to make jokes and keep on rewarding China.

This is how Globalization works.

It's cheaper to ship it there and have it processed (processed as in made into a cooked product) and shipped back, than to have it done here.

Globalization is at the very least, a driving force in wage stagnation and job loss. The end result of globalization is other countries wages will increase, and first world countries wages will DECREASE and we'll all meet somewhere in the middle sometime in the future.

It can't happen any other way.
