ABC Morning TV As Usual is doing the Replay of Billy Bush and Trump already, in only month five of the Electoral College win. Even Rasmussen Approval polling--generally supportive--finds only 31% saying strongly approve--a possible narrowing of the usual Trump Base. So Approval ratings generally are 40% levels. Rasmussen is not showing majority approval. Rasmussen is reliant on "Likely Voters," which itself may now not be as predictably reliable as usual.

The GOP controlled legislatures are negative on the Trump budget, and even the Health Plan needs to come under CBO Scrutiny. Speaking to a widespread audience, Trump managed to characterize "Terrorists" as "Losers:" just like Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Newt Gingrich, and the GOP just generally., get characterized by him. There is really no sense of policy appeal to a new majority being created. At least he did not offend, "Radical Fundamentalist, Moslem Extremists," aka, "The Saudis," out in public. Their goofy ideas about Human Rights he did not even condemn, in the very same breath.

There is not much that Republicans anywhere can claim to be some new agenda, they can use as leverage against oppositions at the polls, among even Socialists at the polls, (or even neo-Nazis, at the polls(?)).

The majority appeal that was missing in 2016 is likely even less apparent now.
