USS Carney shot down 14 attack drones this morning

Probably because the drones weren't aimed at us.

If they are attacking commercial vessels such as the Danish, there is no reason to wait until they strike with a more powerful weapon, no reason to wait for them to attack a U.S. ship, its only inevitable.

There are a mountain of reasons not to attack a sovereign country before you are directly attacked.

Low IQ non sequitur
So they are attacking international shipping lanes... hmm do you see that as some sort of justified resistance? They should just be allowed to continue with MINIMAL push back? You do know with your High IQ that will encourage them to attack more, not less. They have nothing to lose when people with your thinking are in charge.

Not yet, no. Because time will not stop after attacking territory in Yemen. It could and almost certainly would lead to undesired escalation.

Unless you have some fabtasy conspiracy reason why we haven't. Like, the generals are all scared of the Houthis or something.

Low IQ non sequitur
While the British say the drones were attacking a merchant ship, the Carney engaged the drones because there were so many at once they were deemed a threat to the ship, the official said.
Oooops dumbass says what

That doesn't change your non sequitur. Not an appropriate response.

Doing nothing and a full on attack in Yemen on the Houthis are no the only two options.

In the early morning hours of December 16 (Sanna time) the US Arliegh Burke-class guided missile destroyer USS CARNEY (DDG 64), operating in the Red Sea, successfully engaged 14 unmanned aerial systems launched as a drone wave from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen. The UAS were assessed to be one-way attack drones and were shot down with no damage to ships in the area or reported injuries. Regional Red Sea partners were alerted to the threat.

It's almost like there are people at war with us.

Glad we're not at war with anyone.....They just haven't understood the diversity we can offer . ;)

Send 28 missles at Iran

Military type attack drones cost around 15 million each. Does Yemen have that kind of wealth and technology? My guess is the drones were more like Walmart camera stuff.
