An overwhelming majority of Americans support Israel in its war against Hamas over the militant group running the Gaza Strip, according to a new poll.

The Harvard CAPS-Harris survey shared with The Hill showed 80 percent of registered voters said they support Israel more in the war, while 20 percent said they support Hamas more. That is about in line with the poll’s findings from last month, when 79 percent indicated they support Israel more.

In this month’s poll, older age groups were much more likely to be supportive of Israel than younger respondents, though a clear majority of each age group supported Israel more than Hamas. More than 90 percent of those 65 years old and older and of those 55 to 64 said they support Israel more, while 85 percent of those 45 to 54 and three-quarters of those 35 to 44 said the same.

Support for Israel was the lowest among the youngest age groups. Pollsters found 64 percent of those 25 to 34 and 57 percent of those 18 to 24 said they support Israel more, while the rest of those age groups said they support Hamas more.

More evidence that those attacking our universities represent an alien ideology and not the American people.

MOST do support Israel over Hamas. But HAMAs is a terrorist group while the PLO whom represents the majority of the Palestinians is not.

Bullshit. There is a constant flow of atttempted terror attacks coming from the West Bank where the PLO aka Fatah aka PA is in charge. What's more, whatever their political affiliation is, with regard to Israel, an overwhelming majority of Palestinians support terrorist attacks on Israel, especially the Oct 7 attack.

Support for Hamas’ decision to launch the October the 7th offensive remains unchanged:

  • As we did in our previous poll three months ago, we asked the respondents in this poll what they thought of Hamas’ decision to launch the October the 7th offensive. A vast majority of 71%, compared to 72% in December 2023, say it was correct. However, despite the stability of the total response, the findings do show significant change when looking at the two areas separately. As the figure below shows, the perception that the decision of the offensive was correct drops in the West Bank by 11 points and increases in the Gaza Strip by 14 points.

For the last 100 years, the goal of the Palestinian people has been to prevent the Jewish state of Israel and since 1948 to destroy it. There has never been a time when the Palestinians were willing to live in peace with Israel.

Read something instead of just listening to the MAGAt talking heads that can't seem to win in a defamation courtroom.

Proof the overwhelming majority of Americans have been subjected to zionist propaganda.

~S~
Is that why Iran funds all of these groups to attack Israel, or is that Zionist propaganda as well?

And before Netanyahu, the PLO supported a 2 nation split and would have accepted having the West Bank as Palestine. And most of the attacks comes from Gaza. Your story is a lie.

Maybe on your planet, but here on Earth, the PLO, aka, Fatah, aka PA, launched the second intifada in 2000 after Israel offered 93% of the land in the territories, and pays terrorists or their families to kill Jews. The only reason a large-scale attack didn't come from the West Bank is because Israel maintains security control over the West Bank as it will in Gaza after this war. There has never been a time when the Palestinians have been willing to live in peace with Israel.

You must be a Netanyahu supporter. I place him right up there with the HAMAs leaders in Gaza as a terrorist.

I would think you would place him as more of a Churchill ( Colonialist) Or Shah of Iran kinda guy
Nice Gaslighting.

Now for the real answer. Ariel Sharon. Unfortunately, before he could complete what he presented for the 2 state solution he was voted out. He was the last of the REAL Israeli leaders. Netanyahu isn't a leader.
