In my line of work, I come across and work with folks from all walks of life.

Today, I was speaking to a friend of mine, who happens to be a psychiatrist. We were just shooting the breeze about the current state of the world. At one point he told me, “‘Matt,’ you seem much more calm, focused, happy and carefree than most people I know - even other doctors. What’s your secret?”

I simply answered, “Look, Trump is not going to save us. No Democrat out there is going to save us. The solution lies within - it has to come from an inside force. We have to save ourselves.”

My philosophy is that my life is like an egg, in other words. When an egg is broken by an outside force, the egg cracks and life ends. When the egg is cracked by a baby chick, from the inside, life begins.

We have to take the bull by the horns, if we want things to change. That very “bull” lies within ourselves, as does the solution. Conquer ourselves and anything is possible.

But where did I get this idea that THE PEOPLE are the ones in charge, NOT the politicians? School.
Back before the Democrats turned the public schools into production facilities for the stupid, brainless, and retarded.

Our teachers taught us that politicians are OUR employees, and WE have every right to drag them out of their offices if we so choose, because they aren't doing the jobs they promised us.

But politicians are evilly intelligent, they figured out long ago that keep the "sheeples" fat, lazy, and in need will keep THEM in control over US. But nobody "gets" that.

Deep. I like it.

When it comes to water, I like to think of what happens when one falls into an icy cold lake. Panic and flail around, one will most likely sink and drown. Remain calm and think happy thoughts - one will figure out a solution.

The point is that the answer lies within and we defeat ourselves getting emotionally upset.
