Yes but no. By the late 19th century the US was already a manufacturing powerhouse. I believe it already lead the world, thanks to strict tariffs.After WW2 the US became a manufacturing powerhouse, and stayed that until Wall Street moved manufacturing to China.
If the dollar stays strong we're fine, but when the $30T DEBT explodes and the dollar crashes, the fun and prosperity is over.
