The National Weather Service is predicting a high probability of very severe weather from at least central Oklahoma into Minnesota tonight, tomorrow and tomorrow night. The conditions may be right for a major outbreak of large tornadoes which stay on the ground for a prolonged period of time. The threat seems greatest in NE Oklahoma, NW Arkansas, SW Missouri and SE Kansas, though large tornadoes can't be ruled out from the Red River valley of North Texas all the way to the Great Lakes.

Keep your eye on the sky, folks, and have a plan of action ready. This could get ugly in a hurry.
