Muhammad is elevated to the stature of “God’s Apostle” in Islam but examining his biography, can this be true?
The first biography of Muhammad is entitled Book of Raids, necessary to record his many caravan hijackings and conflicts. Such raids were perpetrated to steal “booty” in order for Muhammad and his followers to support themselves. Apparently, honest work wasn’t available.
Hijacking and looting were bad enough, but they’re worsened by Muhammad quoted in official Islamic sources condoning the rape of females captured and enslaved, and urging the followers to avoid birth control as unnatural. The Koran supports permission to rape.
When Muhammad wasn’t looting, he was busy assembling a harem with 10+ wives at the same time. The Koran limits wives to “only” 4 however “Allah” conveniently sent down a message to Muhammad granting special divine permission for unlimited wives—It’s good to be “prophet of Islam”! Among Muhammad’s more notorious wives were a 6-year-old child Aisha in addition to his former daughter-in-law Zaynab, a scandal among the Arabs who viewed such a relationship as incest. Again, conveniently, “Allah” sent Muhammad a message granting special permission to marry his son’s former wife, urging the people not to be outraged with Muhammad.
Another notorious marriage involved a woman Safiya whose husband Muhammad murdered He slept with Safiya shortly later and married her
Muhammad also did not tolerate the slightest criticism. When a female poet Asma bint Marwan began criticizing him, in poetry, Muhammad had enough and ordered her murder She was stabbed to death while nursing her child.
When Jews refused to convert to Islam because of the obvious factors discrediting Muhammad’s “prophethood” such as his violent and amoral behavior as well as his “messages” confusing biblical material and containing historical errors, Muhammad had them beheaded and reportedly watched the slaughter, first holocaust of Jews and first such annihilation in Arabia’s history, violating even Arab codes prohibiting bloodshed.
There are many other violent, immoral and unsavory aspects of Muhammad’s life Which begs the question: Was Muhammad “God’s Apostle”?
