Muhammad is elevated to the stature of “God’s Apostle” in Islam but examining his biography, can this be true?

The first biography of Muhammad is entitled Book of Raids, necessary to record his many caravan hijackings and conflicts. Such raids were perpetrated to steal “booty” in order for Muhammad and his followers to support themselves. Apparently, honest work wasn’t available.

Hijacking and looting were bad enough, but they’re worsened by Muhammad quoted in official Islamic sources condoning the rape of females captured and enslaved, and urging the followers to avoid birth control as unnatural. The Koran supports permission to rape.

When Muhammad wasn’t looting, he was busy assembling a harem with 10+ wives at the same time. The Koran limits wives to “only” 4 however “Allah” conveniently sent down a message to Muhammad granting special divine permission for unlimited wives—It’s good to be “prophet of Islam”! Among Muhammad’s more notorious wives were a 6-year-old child Aisha in addition to his former daughter-in-law Zaynab, a scandal among the Arabs who viewed such a relationship as incest. Again, conveniently, “Allah” sent Muhammad a message granting special permission to marry his son’s former wife, urging the people not to be outraged with Muhammad.

Another notorious marriage involved a woman Safiya whose husband Muhammad murdered He slept with Safiya shortly later and married her

Muhammad also did not tolerate the slightest criticism. When a female poet Asma bint Marwan began criticizing him, in poetry, Muhammad had enough and ordered her murder She was stabbed to death while nursing her child.

When Jews refused to convert to Islam because of the obvious factors discrediting Muhammad’s “prophethood” such as his violent and amoral behavior as well as his “messages” confusing biblical material and containing historical errors, Muhammad had them beheaded and reportedly watched the slaughter, first holocaust of Jews and first such annihilation in Arabia’s history, violating even Arab codes prohibiting bloodshed.

There are many other violent, immoral and unsavory aspects of Muhammad’s life Which begs the question: Was Muhammad “God’s Apostle”?

Yes......well......other than that he was a pretty good guy.

You are judging him by the morality of today. If you judge him by the mores of his time and place, Islam was very progressive. Women had rights and warfare had rules.

Muhammad built his religion himself. Jesus had it built by those who followed him. What would Jesus have been like as a head of state? We'll never know but, if other theocracies are any guide, it would likely have been similar to Islam.

Yeah, people are such Islamophobes.

I can't understand why anyone would reject out of hand the professed belief that such a perverse human being, a child rapist, misogynist, murderer and hallucinating megalomaniac was the messenger of a holy God...

I guess you can always blame it on the Jews....

even in the most primitive stone age society to ever drag their knuckles on the earth it would have been considered deviant at best for a 53 year old man to consummate a marriage with a 9 year old prepubescent child

Muhammad’s marriage to a 6-year-old child when in his 50s was unprecedented. His marriage to his former daughter-in-law constituted incest in Arab society.

Neither Moses nor Jesus had 10+ wives Neither murdered women’s husbands and slept with them

Neither Moses nor Jesus hijacked and looted caravans to support themselves and their followers

Muhammad’s massacre of the Banu Qurayza Jews was unprecedented in Jewish and Arab history

No. as far as I can tell no one has ever claimed he was ordained an apostle.

A man must be called as Aaron was. Few people bother learning how Aaron was called or even how the twelve were called

So, an Arab prophet in Arabia isn’t possible? LOL

Mohammed wiped his ass with rocks. Some prophet.

oh yeah? Mohammed rode a flying horse into heaven. Who else could do that?

I know that some claim that Jesus ascended into heaven by just floating, but thats just a silly superstition.

Even Mohammed's horse didn't wipe his ass with rocks. You sure the horse wasn't riding him?

When Muhammad traveled around on his flying donkey he was the first person to earn frequent flyer points

Who said that?

I said a man must be called as Aaron was

I was being facetious. Muslims actually believe the last prophet in a long line of Jewish prophets in Israel was an Arab in Arabia. Riiight!
