Was one of the terrorists in Brussels a convicted gun runner? But they have gun control...

I heard a quick reference to the background of one of the terrorists on the Dan and Amy show......the one brother had been arrested for car jacking and gun smuggling...and should have been in prison for the gun smuggling....

Is this true?

It can't be....they have gun control in Belgium.......so he obviously would know it was illegal to sell illegal guns in belgium...right?

And the guns from the Paris concert attacks.......were sold to the terrorists in the apartment next to this guys apartment.....

But again, that can't be true, they have gun control in Belgium, and fully automatic weapons are completely illegal in belgium.....

Yep......the one brother used an AK-47 in a previous armed robbery....he actually shot at police...and should have been in prison for 9 years.........

The Guardian also reported that one of the El-Bakraoui brothers had rented a safe house in Charleroi, Belgium, that was used by Paris attackers Abdelhamid Abaaoud and Bilal Hadfi as a rendezvous point prior to the attacks that killed 130 people in the French capital.

The paper also reported that one of the brothers had provided weapons and ammunition to the terrorists who attacked the Bataclan concert hall on that deadly night.

Laachraoui is thought to have built the suicide vests used by the Paris attackers, according to a police official who told the Associated Press that Laachraoui's DNA was found on all of them and in a Brussels apartment where they were made.

DH reported that in October 2010, Ibrahim El-Bakraoui, 30, was convicted of shooting at police with a Kalashnikov during an attempted robbery. He was sentenced to nine years in prison.

In February 2011, the paper reported, Khalid El-Bakraoui was sentenced to five years' probation in connection with a string of carjackings.


So much for gun control stopping criminals and terrorists from getting guns....

actual criminals.....who were known to police, were still able to get fully automatic rifles and explosives in gun controlled Europe....so please...don't tell me that disarming law abiding citizens keeps criminals and mass shooters from getting guns.....
