REPUBLICANS WANT IT. They want the cheap labour to keep wages down. Republicans get to keep the 15% withholding and their donors get cheap labour and freedom from prosecution.

The Democrats prosecute the employers, they stop hiring illegals. Illegal immigration goes down. Republicans lock up illegals and their donors hire with impunity. Illegal immigration goes way up. Republicans blame Democrats. win/win for the GOP. The American people lose.
