I visited 35 states last month. ND was one. I was impressed with the happiness, competence and friendliness of every person I had the pleasure of interacting with in ND. Beautiful state and great people. We need beauty to counter the ugly engaged in over politics. Check out South Dakota. This and North Dakota are two states I have not been to. I would love to hear about places there to go from past visitors.

I wonder if you set a record? Idaho also impresses me for the happiness, competence and friendly people.I visited 35 states last month. ND was one. They have a badlands national park in SD. IMHO, Theodore Roosevelt Nat'l. Park in ND is a far superior example of badlands. Badlands also exist between El Paso, TX and Las Cruces, NM. Mt. Rushmore is a very impressive sculpture--even without Reagan. LOLIs that a real photo? Why do they call South Dakota the "badlands"? Mt. Rushmore is on my bucket list as soon as they decide to add Reagan.
