Well 2 things.
First, voting ends on Tuesday--48 hours or so from now. The blob is spending critical hours shoring up his own backyard in a state he won 4 years ago. On the surface, that is a bad look for the campaign. As for the threats of violence before hand, they probably want to heed the signs that you see at ports of entry...”all threats of violence will be taken seriously”. What that means is that since 9/11, there is a zero tolerance posture by the authorities. As 9/11 created this atmosphere for the airports, and POEs, the terrorist attacks on 1/6 may have created this atmosphere at the places where votes are counted.
