It's funny how we have the money to send to foreign governments, build mosques on foreign soil, engage in senseless deadly costly wars, supply weapons to drug lords and terrorists, subsidize rich farmers and big oil, build a senseless worthless FENCE along our southern border, build planes and ships the military doesn't want nor need, fund hundreds of military bases around the world, pay bribes to North Korea and Iran, pay for the shameful and ridiculous perks and benefits given to members of Congress, lavish White House vacations, pay for the care and support of millions of illegal immigrants, give tax breaks to major corporations, bailout Wall Street and the financial institutions, but, we don't have the money to upgrade and repair our rundown infrastructure. I pay my taxes, that's all they're going to get out of me. And, yes, we have the money, as I mentioned above, plenty of money. Add up the items listed above and tell me how much it comes out to. Then figure what it would cost to repair and upgrade our infrastructure. It seems the government can borrow money for everything else, why not borrow some to fix the infrastructure?
