Well, I failed to account for the stupidity of the masses

Got the quote from Musk?

Elon Musk Warns Of 'Hardship' For Americans If Trump Puts Him In Charge Of Cutting $33 Trillion Debt

Elon Musk is painting a clear picture of what he says is ahead if Donald Trump appoints him to lead government efficiency efforts. Musk told voters to expect some "temporary hardship" as he aims to drastically reduce federal spending, a role Trump has floated if re-elected. Musk said cuts would be so broad that "everyone's going to have to take a haircut," and he's already predicting pushback, calling it a necessary path to "long-term prosperity."

Musk’s vision involves cutting about $2 trillion from the federal budget, which he discussed during Trump's New York rally, echoing his commitment to aggressive cost-cutting tactics seen at his companies. He believes trimming down government spending can keep the U.S. from what he controversially described as "going bankrupt." Critics, however, point to Musk's own federal contract revenue — his SpaceX has received around $19 billion in government funds — and question how cuts would affect his ventures.

LOL It's been here. The main reason the convicted felon rapist conman is once again going to be your President.

Turns out that Americans didn't like runaway inflation, woke/cancel culture, open borders, unchecked crime, men pretending to be women, and a bunch more.

Who knew?

Everyone.

The rich have plenty of money. All we need to do is to direct the government to take most of it from them.

The Green New Deal has not been through enough to achieve much. it is easier to prove that man made global warming is an existential problem.

Published January 18, 2024

Highlights

  • Earth’s temperature has risen by an average of 0.11° Fahrenheit (0.06° Celsius) per decade since 1850, or about 2° F in total.
    • The rate of warming since 1982 is more than three times as fast: 0.36° F (0.20° C) per decade.
  • 2023 was the warmest year since global records began in 1850 by a wide margin.
    • It was 2.12 °F (1.18 °C) above the 20th-century average of 57.0°F (13.9°C).
    • It was 2.43 °F (1.35 °C) above the pre-industrial average (1850-1900).
  • The 10 warmest years in the historical record have all occurred in the past decade (2014-2023).

Climate Change: Atmospheric Carbon Dioxide

By Rebecca Lindsey Reviewed By Ed Dlugokencky
Published April 9, 2024

  • Each year, human activities release more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere than natural processes can remove, causing the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere to increase.
  • The global average carbon dioxide set a new record high in 2023: 419.3 parts per million.
  • Atmospheric carbon dioxide is now 50 percent higher than it was before the Industrial Revolution.
  • The annual rate of increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide over the past 60 years is about 100 times faster than previous natural increases, such as those that occurred at the end of the last ice age 11,000-17,000 years ago.
  • The ocean has absorbed enough carbon dioxide to lower its pH by 0.1 units, a 30% increase in acidity.

Insanity
Typical for you.

Thanks. Seems this snipped came from a virtual town hall on X, but I can't seem to find a transcript.

It's just that simple.

This county is dumber than I thought it was.

In fact, dumber than I thought possible.

You idiots elected somebody who is planning to crash the economy.

Enjoy your poverty and hatred.

"The rich have plenty of money". Who will take their money? Will that be you?

What justification will you use to take their money?

Identify for us the direct causation of human caused global warming.

Will you personally stop China from building coal burning plants?

The government has the right to tax. I have the right to vote for Democrats who will tax the rich heavily.

Human behavior is responsible for the increase in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. As the CO2 increases, the climate of the earth gets hotter.

Anyone who thinks it will be easy to cut $33 trillion from the federal government is delusional. I am confident that little or nothing will be cut from business subsidies, farm subsidies for agribusiness, or the military budget.

Tax cuts for the rich caused this problem. Tax increases for the rich are needed to solve this problem. For years there has been majority support for higher taxes for rich people and corporations. There is little support for specific cuts in domestic spending. Most Americans want more generous spending for some domestic programs.

A grief-stricken little lady. Now you’re lashing out like a school girl who wasn’t invited to the prom.
And you're still a moron.

It blows my mind that you think you are insulting me by calling me the gender you are (or at least claim to be).

That's amazingly stupid.

Dont worry the other side didn't forget to account for how stupid you are.

Be graceful in defeat, little lady. Angry and self-loathing is no way to go through life, darlin’
And you're still doing it.

What makes you think females are so terrible?

Is it just the the example you are most familiar with (you I presume) is a horrible example of humanity?

I believe that Trump's economic policies, especially his efforts to exchange income taxes for tariffs, will harm most Americans, including the poorly educated angry white men he pretends to love. I also believe that Trump is delusional enough to believe that most Americans will benefit from his policies.

As stupid and ignorant as Trump is, he knows that if the economy really crashes during his term - imagine an inflationary recession like the one of 1974, only worse - he will be blamed, and the Republican Party will be seriously damaged.
Has he shown any tendency to avoid damage to his party in the past?

Well, there are a lot of us that think quite the opposite on both taxes and spending. Actually, it seems a clear majority of the country.
