Why does everyone assume Trump will even run again in 2020?

If he ain't dead he'll run. His ego will demand it.

I don't think he will run in 2020.....he'll have accomplished everything he set out to do by the end of this year. Who needs the bile and filth being thrown at him and his family? The Showman in him knows you leave when they want another encore. But in politics there is no encore. Reagan should have left at the end of his first term...he'd done what he went there to do. Trump can motor back to his palace, play the elder statesman, and enjoy the end of his years in peace.
