Louisville, Ky. is a medium sized city...

... with somewhat of a small town feel...

... doesn't get real hot in summer like in the south...

... nor real cold in winter like up north...

... kinda Goldilocks climate.

SFO without a doubt. Bring your wallet. Smells like a toilet. Naked cocks running all over. Bums by the thousands. What not to like. Put down a towel if you want to eat naked. be polite.

Why do you want to live in a city?
For Chicago, it's the:

Diversity

The art
The street food and street fairs
The concerts
The sports teams (since I came to Chicago, how many world championships? Football, baseball, basketball, hockey)
The museums
The lakefront
The sailing and boating
The bike paths
Theater
The parks
The zoos
The housing
The nightlife

The list is endless

Don't have to live in a city to do any of those things

could be a town...doesn't have to be a city for me....

semantics.

I live in a small town that feels very rural even though I'm less than an hour away from Boston.
It's quite scenic with rolling hills and several state parks nearby and there is virtually no crime to speak of and it's quiet.

Most corrupt city in the USA
Chicago is arguably the most corrupt city in the United States. It is a city with a long and in-your-face tradition of rampant corruption, which has changed little since the mobster days of the early 20th century.
