:deal: :death: :wtf: In general what Ted Cruz was saying that it's OK for New York politicians to get away with just about any crime or scandal that most of us would go to jail for. Right? Lets see, Rangel walks away Scott Free for not disclosing rental income? The Clintons, well, too long a list to disclose here, but we already know what they both have gotten away with. Anthony Weiner? if any other adult male did what he did on the net, the local cops would of been at their doors and taken away their PC's at least.
Between DeBlasio and Cuomo, obvious that most New Yorks are not very bright when it comes to choosing their leaders. :iagree::itsok:

A phrase used to keep the right wingers content that their trailer park life on food stamps and welfare is the greatest America there can be, As Limbaugh and others laugh all the way to the bank supporting Germany with four hundred thousand car purchases. You people remain fools, the corporations play you like a banjo.

"The 20th century has been characterized by three developments of great political importance: The growth of democracy, the growth of corporate power, and the growth of corporate propaganda as a means of protecting corporate power against democracy." Alex Carey

i would guess that Cuomo is the most hated Governor in the USA. 99.9 % of Americans refer to Cuomo with a word starting with "F"

Odd that you think 99.9% of crazy teabaggers represent all Americans.

In defense of New Yorkers, whom I really enjoy visiting. Mrs. Tuzla Clinton is not a New Yorker by any means. Until she ran for Senate she barely set foot in the state. NY was just a vehicle for Mrs. Tuzla's career nothing more nothing less.

New York values means that although we have our share of Republicans, most of them are not nearly as RWnutty as the kind you find out in the Lands of the Inbred.

Nah. I think you are missing the point.

"New York values" pertains to the fact that attitudes and behavior that are "normal" and acceptable in Manhattan are not acceptable in the rest of the country.

Many of these may be somewhat overblown, but the perception is there, mainly created by decades of television programming based in New York city. They include rudeness, arrogance, blatant weirdness, and a general lack of consideration for the interests of other humans. Trump's New York values are evident in the way he attacks(and threatens to sue) those who disagree with him, how he reacts to things that don't go his way, his use of crude language, his constant boasting, and his insufferable claims to be "great friends" with everyone important, living or dead.

A wonderfully illustrative example of how tone deaf New Yorkers are to this perception is how easily Trump was able to convince New Yorkers that Cruz' remarks had ANYTHING TO DO WITH the first responders of 9-11. Which is fucking ridiculous beyond belief.

For better or for worse, New York City is no more representative of the state of New York than California is of the United States. I have no doubt that Cruz will do fine in the upcoming primary, everywhere but in the NYC SMSA.

You sound like another bitter poor person in the south who can't afford a trip to the greatest city in the world -- New York is expensive and you need some disposable income to go there and see all the great things they have. It must suck to go through life and never get to NYC or Paris or San Francisco.

Go head, rattle off your talking point names -- meanwhile everything that matters in the United States happens in the New York, Chicago, or L.A. By matter I mean decisions about $$$$

You flyover hicks wouldn't last a day living in NYC

One of the funnest times is when the republicans had their convention in the city, so may deer in the headlight hicks from flyover country roaming around. A great time giving then the wrong directions on the subway to places that would make them crap themselves , directions to coney island ? sure, just take the train to......
The natural history museum? No problem ... you take the A train to 125th street

A fun time!!

Alot of conservative new yorkers don't agree with "new York" values. Cruz will do far better than anticipated

As if Ted Cruz isn't rude, arrogant, blatantly weird, with a general lack of consideration for others...

The mistake that Ted Cruz made is forgetting that people in New York voted for diBlasio, Rangel and Cuomo.

Face it, Ted fucked up, and said N.Y. values. He left it open for all the above scum of the USMB and their MSM cohorts to try and propagandize on what he said. If he simply would have said IMMORAL, UNETHICAL, UNPRINCIPLED LIBERAL VALUES, all would have been just fine.

you are ignorant of what NY'ers think or do, stick to you kolobianism

You think rural conservatives share the same values as the progressives in the city?

You do realize new York values was a commentary of liberal values in the city right? There is more to the state than the city

I agree with you Mr Shirley Booth, AKA, Hazel-) And you guys better hurry up and make a money decision because Chicago is on the verge of bankruptcy, as is the whole leftist state of Illinois. They probably already would have filed (I know, a state can't file bankruptcy, but Chicago can) except even the lefties realized they better do something, and elected a Republican governor, lol.

And, on another note, how are lefty policies affecting the wealthy of the city of Chicago? Hmmmm, let me check-) Chicago lost more millionaires than any U.S. city in 2015

OMG, all the wealthy BUSINESS........JOB CREATORS...........AND TAX PAYERS.........are fleeing the lefty jurisdiction. How can this be?

It is called VOTING WITH THEIR FEET-) If you don't like policies where you are, you LEAVE. And boy oh boy, Chicago is going to become the new Detroit thanks to lefty policies!
