And you think our government wants to kill us. That's crazy. The Constitution and Bill of Rights only work when the government is forced to obey them.......moron.......all it takes is the will to kill by the government and your safeguards on paper mean nothing........that is why the First and Second Amendments are so important....and why the left hates them...
Today....no.....50 years....you think it can't happen? Did the Germans in 1930s Germany see the death camps in their future...or how about the Japanese Americans in the 1920s....did they see the democrats putting them into internment camps...how many voted for that democrat President who put them and other German and Italian American citizens into internment camps.....?
You really need to do a little research before you start spouting off about Democrats being responsible for the Japanese internment camps. There is plenty of documented proof to show that atrocity was shared equally across all political leanings. That being said, You really think your little pea shooter would be a deterrent to the best equipped military in the world, assuming your entire ridiculous scenario of armed revolution was even possible?
It was two Progressive Democrat Presidents that put American Citizens into internment camps.
What Progressive Republican President did it?
The entire country voted to put him into office. The only opposing states he didn't carry were northern liberal states. It was a disgusting action, but he was supported at the time by all political parties. We learn by our mistakes, and that one was shared by the entire country.
Taft and Roosevelt split the Republican vote, and Wilson won the election with a little less than 42 percent of the vote.
FDR won because his 1st election people wer sick of Republican rule, President Hoover was trying to get them out of the depression but his plans were very weak. FDR promised a 'New Deal'. No one knew exactly what it was but it brought them hope.
Sound familiar?
Obama's Hope and Change, no one knew exactly what it was but it brought them hope.
We keep doing the same things over and over and nothing really changes.
