Good deals are harder to come by, the ability to read a map is pretty much gone, less situational awareness, etc..

I mean here we are with the knowledge of the world at our beck and call but people are still dumb as a fuckin' brick with even less critical thinking/reasoning skills than I thought possible.

I don't know, perhaps is was social media that ruined the internet. The internet was pretty cool place for a good while, now anyone with a original thought is beat down by "hive speak".

Yeah, I know....Luddite much? ;)

The internet has ruined picking up smoking deals at pawn shops. yard sales, estates sales, and flea markets. Every swinging dick now thinks their shit's made out of solid gold, thanks to the internet and Ebay.

it ruined being a trivia buff. It used to be impressive if you could remember the 4 Japanese Carriers sunk at the Battle of Midway, (Akagi, Kaga, Hiryu, Soryu) but now everyone has a device in their pocket that can provide that information in seconds.

Also good old fashioned normal porn. Some girl-girl stuff or a little interracial porn would be the most crazy thing you would see, now you can get one armed group anal furry midget porn after a few keystrokes.

Personally i like Renamon.

Encylopedias in volumes? Does anyone even use those anymore?

I remember seeing ads for them on tv in the 1980's
I haven’t seen or heard of any being sold in many years. Wonder if printing of any new copies is even occurring.

better check Google.

A Google link to icky sticky Wiki reveals:

“The Encyclopædia Britannica (Latin for "British Encyclopaedia") is a general knowledge English-language encyclopaedia. It is published exclusively as an online encyclopaedia. It is published by Encyclopædia Britannica, Inc.; the company has existed since the 18th century ….” — Encyclopædia Britannica - Wikipedia

So, it’s now online only.

I can still get my self from point A to point B without batteries ...

Well, not entirely true ... I need my watch and that has a battery.

This doesn't compute with the "Narrative".
