They incorporated the FBI's African American murder rate statistics into a script and convinced former Spokane, WA NAACP chapter president Rachael Dolezal to read it on a celebrity video message site called "Cameo."

In case you're wonder what the numbers are she's reciting, they came from Table 43a of the FBI's statistics.

Table 43A

Blacks make up 13% of the population but do ~50% of the :

• murder
• robbery

But in reality 13% is the ENTIRE black population. So it's only like 6% (or less) doing these crimes.
