If there is violence within a certain perimeter of the WH, the Secret Service immediately guides the POTUS to a bunker of a non disclosed location.

The POTUS has the right and power to insist he not go there, but that will put the SS detail in danger, so most, if not all Presidents follow the lead of the SS.

Yes, the bunker has a dining table and a TV but for security reasons, there is no communication with the outside by anyone until the activity ends and all is secure..

As for "savaging" outnumbered police....we heard about it yet for some reason, all of the blood and guts we were told about did not show up on any footage of the hundreds of videos presented to the Jan 6 commission. In fact, there was no video evidence of anyone getting killed but an observer who was shot by the Capitol Police.
