WHY Are Democrats Trying To Oust Trump ?

Why the witch hunt ? If Democrats were to succeed in getting Trump impeached, what good would it do them ? If Pence became president, hardly a single policy set forth by Trump would change.

Illegal aliens would still be getting deported. Sanctuary cities would still be facing extinction. The Muslim ban would still be enacted – by a conservative SCOTUS (and more conservatives appointed to the SCOTUS). ISIS would still be under siege, and eventually exterminated. Nothing would change on gun policy.

IS there a single policy of the Trump administration (which Pence is a key part of) that would change ? And please don’t anyone spout off some pious rhetoric about doing the right thing – not when all Democrats ever say is “this may lead to that”, like Charlie Rose did this morning on CBS.

Come to think of it, if Pence became president, that could trigger some movement to the RIGHT wing. Infrastructure repair could get shelved, as well as Trump’s hard stand against outsourcing, just to cite 2 examples. Could Democrats just be spinning their wheels, if not shooting themselves in their feet ?

You ever hear of a word called Karma.......for 8 long long fuckin years, you white mf's gave the Obama administration nothing but pure hell...from Fast and Furious to the Hillary fuckin emails, to Bengazi and beyond and over and over, year after year, you found nothing, absolutely nothing. While I absolutely detest the racist Tigerred59, the issue regarding the GOP's treatment of Obama throughout his administration is, as they say, spot on. The GOP was consistent in two things when it came to Obama and that was, disrespect and blocking as much of what they could of Obama's goals. That being said, both the Democrats and the Republicans have a long standing history (almost since the founding of our nation) of opposing their opponents programs, sometimes very vehemently. Thus, expecting only civility between the opposing parties is a bit much to expect on a continual basis.
But, the ever growing divide between the two parties really stepped up decades ago, in the 60's with the "counter-culture" crowd (hippies, communes and alternate educational topics. Both parties lost track of more centrist ideals and instead, grew more and more to the extremes of their parties platforms.
We need to look back at what really made this nation the not only the world's superpower, but also, what drove millions across the planet to seek this nation out.
1. Resources.
2. Space to grow.
3. The promise of freedom to pursue your dreams.
4. No government or religious persecution.
5. Capitalism.
The US couldn't change what happened during its dark period (slavery, genocide). All nations across this globe had slavery (be they black, white, Asian, aboriginal) at some point. Genocide has also occurred throughout history, even into the 20th century. What the US did do, was recognize what it did, not hide it and grew from its mistakes. To this day, the US remains the leading power in the world and remains a beacon for those who seek a better life and are willing to be processed via legal means to enter for their goal of a better life.

Kind of cover that divide with a lot of intelligent writing not seen a lot around here and kind of shocked me. Are you a Libertarian?

The Dems were talking aqbout impeachment on day one. Made no difference WHAT he did.

The aspect that is more troubling is that more objective people, independents and Republicans are having difficulty defending Trump as his naiveness of political issues appear.

This is a good opportunity for us to listen and analyze exactly what evidence and law actually says rather than interpreting a a feeling. We all will be have a better undertanding of culpability for a crime.

By the looks of the Comey testimony today, it looks like the hollow "investigation" witch hunt is sticking out like a sore thumb, and going nowhere.

Might be time for the Democrats to go back to the drawing board. Maybe advancing better policies might help. Like not welcoming Muslim terrorists into the country, or illegal alien job stealers.

Pence isn't a fighter and can be easily made to back down, they would force him to pick left wing justices....."to reach across the aisle" ....... and the same thing they are doing to Trump...they would do to him.....since he is Trump's V.P. he must have known all about Trump's crimes....so they would hound him just as much...and he would back down to them.....

I know little about Pence. I hope we don't have to find out. Until he wins in an election!

In contrast, Obama, the jihadist traitor, removed US troops from Iraq in 2011, opening the door for ISIS to move in and fill the vacuum. ANd it was Obama who colluded with al Baghdadi to allow ISIS convoys to move freely in Iraq, killing large numbers of people, robbing banks, stealing oilfields, extorting, etc.

It was also Obama, the jihadist, who allowed Major Nidal Hasan to rant his jihad filth freely in Fort Hood, TX, when scores of Army officers were requesting Nidal be dishonorably discharged, all resulting in the murders of 13 Army troops and wounding of 38 others.
