Why aren't people in surrounding states swarming into South Dakota and infecting everyone?

Probably because the people of South Dakota have a good amount of guns and are very good shots.We are constantly told that if a rural state re-opens, a bunch of virus infested hordes from other states are going to drive 300 miles in order to get a haircut, go to a movie, go shopping at the mall, and so on. Why hasn't this happened to South Dakota? Why is South Dakota not getting slammed by the rest of the country?
