Why does the left count the ACA as one of Obama's successes?

Ask the Heritage Foundation and the GOP support for it for a decade before Obama came around

The Heritage foundation and Newt only advocated a fine for not having healthcare, Obamacare is far beyond that, none of which they ever advocated.

They both also realized it was a stupid idea and backed off it. Apparently even though they once advocated a stupid thing, they are still well ahead of you.

It still came from Heritage and now you dont like it...after you did....for 10 years.

The GOP spent 10 years building that house of cards then Obama says "Nice House" and republicans put their boot thru it

The opposition party is called I Got Mine, so screw you...

there is MORE POVERTY since Progressives started "helping" people

true story
The economy sucks. That happens when you don't spread the cash around.

well it is true the rich are getting richer under Progressive Majority rule; and the poor are getting poorer; both at a faster rate under obama (chains you can believe in)

the road to hell i paved with the wreckage of progressive good intentions

Because the Democrats have been trying for nearly 100 years, to make legalized wealth transfer from wealthy to poor (i.e. theft and distribution of stolen goods) an official part of U.S. domestic policy. With Obamacare, they have achieved more success than any other single Congressional act.

It's part of the campaign to rid the country of the notion of private property. What you earn is no longer "yours", but can be "redistributed" by government to whomever it wants. Especially if the recipients have more votes than you do.

Because whatever the gop proposes, they'll have to cover everyone and FOR ONCE say how they'll pay for it.

they would? why? obama hasnt.

The figures may be less than accurate, but the ACA was costed by the CBO. The gop will have to play by the same rules, much to the tea party's unhappiness.

the latest figure from the CBO has i believe obamacare costing 2 trillion

much to left-wing nutjobs unhappiness

The economy sucks. That happens when you don't spread the cash around.

By "you", little housepainter means government, not the people.

That makes him completely wrong, of course.

The economy sucks when the people don't spread the cash around... by buying, selling, and working.

Government has little to do with such activities... except to the degree it can prevent them, by taxation and restriction (the only powers government has).

Sure, but the cbo also costed whether it would pay for itself in taxes and savings .. and by and large it passed. Since Reagan, the gop hasn't played by those rules. If the ACA forced the gop to tell the truth on deficits, it was a success.

Because for nearly a century in this country, US presidents have been trying, with little or no success, to pass a National Healthcare Act.

Obama got it done.

That's why.

WTF are you serious? Simply passing it regardless of the bills actual effect on us is now the sign of success?

Yeah.

I'm very serious.

In political terms, this was the holy grail.

I don't think I have Ever agreed with anything you have ever posted. On this one you can't possibly be more spot on. Unfortunately this isn't about HC or helping We the People. As you say Obama got it done, but it was done on a technicality and passed on Christmas Eve without a single GOP vote. That's not success that's Obama getting what he wanted by lying over and over and over again. He continues to lie every time he opens his mouth.
The World is Laughing....

lol nonsense on stilts; we know obamacare will cost trillions; we just dont know how many more trillions yet. it doesnt look good; not enough of the right people signing up; and WAY too many signing up for Medicaid not for insurance on the exchanges

Yep..that is the typical liberal mindset.
You have to remember, to the liberal - the exchange never mattered. Lowering cost never mattered...if 10,000 people signed up, and 9950 of them were unpaid medicare additions - liberals would consider this a success.
Obamacare was never about lowering cost, reigning in outrageous insurance premiums, eroding coverage, addressing TORT, improving healthcare etc. etc. etc.
Obamacare was the first step in socializing healthcare.
Period.

Government creates the Middle Class. It's not natural to Capitalism. And the Middle Class is what gets the little green bills flying around and around. When they stop, all but the very rich suffer, just like today.

obamacare is a $2 TRILLION TAX ON THE MIDDLE CLASS
the rich can afford the costs; the poor will be subsidized

it is just laughable for the Left to keep pretending they are for the Middle Class

The first step was the VA, then Medicare, then Medicaid, and now Obamacare. We are on our way, to what other modern Western nations have had, some for decades.

Laugh all you want, the cbo costed it's deficit cost. The dems don't generally care what programs cost nor does the gop care what tax cuts cost.

The gop's response will likewise be costed out in deficit terms. A first.

truly laughable; the so-called entitlment programs have over $100 TRILLION in unfunded mandates; Medicaid is rife with waste fraud and abuse; obamacare is failing as we speak

and THIS is your case for more government programs?

lol
