You can only make decisions based on what is known at the time. Bush supported the Iraq war and did so based on faulty intelligence given to them by the intelligence committee members.

I can't hold that against Biden without holding it against Bush and I don't hold it against Bush.

That being said Saddam had declared he had destroyed all WMD's in his country and we found over 500 warheads. In the months and years following 9/11 we were looking for a fight. We went into Iraq because the Afghan war was too quick and didn't send the message to the world not to fuck with the USA.

Invading Iraq was absolutely justified by the resolutions Saddam had violated for the previous 10 years.

Because as long as the left who equally oppose Biden for similar reasons
are DIVIDED from the right who oppose him, they cancel each other out.
If these forces UNITE then better candidates can be hired for office
to pursue policies that all sides AGREE are the rightful duty of govt.

Instead, we end up with COMPROMISE legislation and candidates NOBODY wants!

Similar happened when both the liberal left and the conservative right
BOTH OPPOSED Obama's ACA reforms that gave billions in tax dollars to Corporate Insurance interests.
BOTH sides OPPOSED this corrupt abuse.
But because of failure to unite, the legislation kept getting pushed and enforced at taxpayer expense.

Both sides lose, because of politicizing the blame to divide people.
When we unite on common issues, we stand a better chance of stopping the abuses.
(The problem is if the two sides don't agree on a solution to fix or replace the problem,
that's how the opposition stays divided and nothing changes. We all end up losing.)

But- invading Iraq was stupid when we had a war with Afghanistan going on- it was a distraction which harmed our efforts in Afghanistan- and it wasn't necessary- or urgent- to invade Iraq.
