Why immigration was so much worse under Biden than Trump

The fact remains that the border law we need was written by a Republican, approved by the house, the President said he would sign it but it was squashed in the Senate (tabled) because your Orange Cheeto God didn't want it to pass until AFTER he was reelected. The Republican Politicos own this one lock stock and barrel.

Giving Biden more power and money to enforce the laws that he doesn't enforce now with the power and money he already has would be pointless.

More border agents would be nice, if the agents were being used to stop illegals at the border and immediately return them to Mexico. Is that what the agents were doing for the first 3 years of Biden's term?

Or were they being used to escort the illegal aliens into the country, make them a meal and then ship them into the interior?

The funds are already allocated., And they are the normal spent it or lose it type funds. What could YOU do with 1.4 billion bucks a year. And the fact remains that we need to temporarily spend more to get the back log of waiting seekers taken care of in a timely manner. Can you imagine, you trying to enter the US illegally only to find out that within 30 days you are going to be sent back to your country of origin and if you return, prison awaits you. I will admit after seeing the insides of a Turkish Prison, maybe ours looks like a holiday inn.

That is what is presented. More agents, better paid agents, authorizing more over time. And the days of just scooping up people and claiming they are illegals and sending them to Mexico ended. It was "Over Indulged" for quite some time until Bush Jr signed that bill in 2006.

And since the Immigration Courts are backed up for years, what would you do with them? They can't stay at the border anymore. The trick is to get them processed by a court of law and decide who stays and who get deported back to the country of origin.

Well, that’s a relief. But it is curious that you’d make a claim about what I have “not” done when you now admit you don’t know.

No. I feel less than zero inclination to take any stage directions from a twerp like you.

Again. You have zero basis of knowledge to make that claim.

Ergo, you are doubling down on dishonesty.

You shouldn’t.

I have no respect for you. So again, your stage directions are rejected.

If you had actually read that bill, even a moron like you would maybe have noticed how many aliens were to be permitted to cross the border (on an average daily basis for any given week) before triggering any obligation on the President or the Director.

So, once again, you are cordially invited to gfy.

Thank you for showing how big a coward you really are. MAGAts only pick on the weak.

Biden wanted to send the illegal aliens back, he just didn't have enough money? Cool story.

Can you imagine, you trying to enter the US illegally only to find out that within 30 days you are going to be sent back to your country of origin and if you return, prison awaits you.

Imagine finding out the US wasn't going to let you use your fake claim to walk over the border in the first place.

And since the Immigration Courts are backed up for years, what would you do with them?

They can go back and apply from their home country. Or ask for asylum in the first safe country they enter.

They can't stay at the border anymore.

And they can't stay here.

The trick is to get them processed by a court of law and decide who stays and who get deported back to the country of origin.

I agree. The ones who cross illegally get immediately rejected.
The ones who use a Port of Entry get their fake claims rejected in 5 minutes.

And it appears that everyone but the Orange Cheeto and his pet monkey wants the same thing.,

It never reached the House.

There was more than one bill. One went into committee in the house and the other went into committee in the senate. The one we need to work with is the one in the House. It appears the one in the senate is dead on arrival.

Which bill that Sen Lankford worked on went to committee in the House?
