If and when the government is corrupt enough, then it is the duty of everyone to destroy that corruption and start over.

But the reason why Flynn is wrong is not that he supports rebellion and starting over, but that he proposes it be done as a military coup, which is the very last thing anyone who believes in a democratic republic should ever want.

The military is not allowed to enforce laws or exert power domestically because the founders were aware of the inherent threat the military always poses.
