Newsome has a lot to recommend to the Democrat base. But . . . problem with Newsome is that he would be usurping Harris. The Dems will lose a lot of the thirties and forties black male for sending illegals to ruin black neighborhoods that the residents have worked hard to make prosper.

If they allow Newsom to take Harris' AA (both meanings) turn as presidential candidate, they will lose college-age blacks, especially women.

I believe Biden will step aside. There’s more than one reason for that.

First, he’s an abject failure and the administration’s attempts to gaslight the public about the economy is not working.

Second, there’s no question that he’s in a steep physical and mental decline. The American people see that too. The attempts by Democrats to tell us how physically and mentally fit and energetic he is are falling flat.


Their only option is Newsome. He’s the only acceptable way they can also get rid of Kamala Harris.

But if Sleepy Old Uncle Joe gets sidelined and does not run, and the GOP runs Trump again, the Dems might become desprate enough to run Newsome.
