Winning: EPA Swamp Being Drained

Ethanol was used because all that taxpayer subsidies to the farmers bought farmer votes...

I would trust the EPA ( Pre Orange Dork) over Corporations.

LMFAO!!!!

Corporations get audited.

The EPA just lies and makes money vanish.

Guess which one the LEFT "trusts..."

You got it, the left wing liars who make taxpayer money vanish....

Audited? Their pollution get audited.

Good Job EPA.

But hey, we all know the EPA only exists during Democrat administrations & under Democrat Congresses, right, right Mr Brilliant?

The EPA pushes Algore's FRAUD.

Everyone doing that should end up in prison assuming Jeff Sessions isn't already selling that out too...

Algae blooms in lake Erie caused by agricultural run off.

Do you propose to outlaw farming?

No, dope.
Obviously the regulations regarding run off are not sufficient. Gutting the EPA does not help.
So where do you imagine the water is supposed to go when it rains?

Good question. Probably one for the EPA to address. Oh, that's right. No one's home.
ROFL! I'm sure the EPA could come up with a solution that would bankrupt every farmer in the country.

Yes, the ethanol fad must be ended quickly. More energy is required to produce the corn than you obtain, and then there is all of the water and chemicals used. A display of stupid leftist agendas.
Ethanol was not used because of emissions. It was done to reduce the use of imported oil.
You’re wrong, but that’s not the point. Ethonal is very unfriendly to the environment.

There are measures to take to reduce run off from fertilizers, Manures, etc.

Riparian barriers for one.
Those are for erosion control. Water has to go somewhere. Eventually it ends up in a stream and then a river and then a lake or ocean.

There are no Ethanol taxpayer subsidies to the farmers.

Trump is an Ethanol supporter who will prevent Pruitt from eliminating it.

Republican President Nixon created the EPA regulations.

Ethanol has a positive EROEI, much better than Canadian Tar Sands.

Ethanol eliminates harmful MTBE gasoline additive.

Scott Pruitt has 'epiphany,' sides with Ethanol industry

The health of the Great Lakes is as important as the financial health of the farmers.

More dopey binary thinking.

We didn't have this problem fifty years ago.
It's come with the over-use and often indiscriminate application of chemicals.

But there you are, supporting tens of billions to go to fudgebaking liars who misdiagnose real problems.... and doing nothing for the Great Lakes.

Leftists = if they aren't stealing it, they are unhappy about it.

How do you know we didn't have the problem 50 years ago? Do you imagine we didn't have fertilizer then? How do you propose to prevent fertilizer from getting into the ground water?

Because I grew up in the region. It's not as much a problem with fertilizer as it is when, how and in what quantity it's applied.

I gaurentee you that farmers were using plenty of chemical fertilizer 50 years ago and agricultural runoff was just as big a problem then as it is now - maybe even worse. You just weren't aware of it because you were some dumb punk kid who didn't know jack shit about anything.

furthermore, no one cared about it 50 years ago. We had more serious things to be concerned about.

No, dope. It was my Eagle Scout project. I knew more about the issue when I was a teenager than you will ever know.

EPA = waste, fraud and abuse.

EPA has been one of the most successful agencies . How soon we forget the environmental distaster the USA was back in the 70s .

You hate them because they dare to stop your big biz masters from literally destroying the country .
