Wonder if there are plans

It sucks, obviously.
I realize the info is supposedly private, not classified, but still. No way to stop people from wandering into our office and emptying our desk drawers, illegally bugging our phones, listening at the keyhole, stealing our mail from the box and reading it.

When computerized parts started showing up in cars we had the same problem; when some "chip" went kaflooey they couldn't figure out which half the time. Cost a fortune or your engine kept kicking up. Now we have a similar problem with keeping cyber information private. This HAS to be figured out. If banks can do it for our account #'s etc., why can't everything be similarly protected?
I obviously don't know much about cyber security.
