A lot of people are uninformed about service dogs. Primary problem lies with our governments as there is no legal definition of service dogs. As one who supports a service dog training organization, I'm disgusted that anyone can buy a service dog vest at Petco for their yappy untrained dog.

I suspect 80% of "service" dogs I see are bogus. I have a close friend that cannot be in the same room as a service dog--doing so would be life-threatening for him.
