Gee if he looked a little different I'm guessing this would be all over CNN and MSNBC with calls for him to resign.

The Mayor explained his position on Christianity with this statement.

"I want to be clear that the material in Chief Cochran's book is not representative of my personal beliefs,"

I wonder what Church, if any, the Mayor attends that preaches the virtues of sin.
 
As a doubtful agnostic, I see this as religious persecution.

Because he didn't agree with an opinion, he's being punished.

We're not talking s***** behavior, but a simple difference of opinion.

He's being punished because he spoke of his views in a book he wrote. I find this horrifying and, whether the author being punished was Right or Left, religious or atheistic, being punished for publishing a civil book with your views is wrong. No, it is evil.
