World begins 2014 with unusual number of extreme weather events

UN's World Meteorological Organisation says recent extremes of heat, cold and rain are almost certainly interlinked

There have been heatwaves in Slovenia and Australia, snow in Vietnam and the return of the polar vortex to North America. Britain has had its wettest winter in 250 years but temperatures in parts of Russia and the Arctic have been 10C above normal. Meanwhile, the southern hemisphere has had the warmest start to a year ever recorded, with millions of people sweltering in Brazilian and southern African cities.

Do alleged educated lefties really think the world began a hundred or so years ago when they started recording temperatures? The climate has always changed and according to geological records the greatest fear as far as climate change is another ice age or mini-ice age. By all scientific accounts it seems that the sun still influences the climate on the 3rd rock from the sun. It's glaringly evident that "global warming" ain't happening so the enviro radicals turn logic upside down and change the argument. Freaking record cold becomes "climate change" and American decadence (although we are about 1/6 of the world population) is the cause.

The world meteorological organizion that works with all the institutions and agencies of the world believes this. That's the so ;)

And exactly how have their predictions been working out lately?

Are those the same people who have been saying every year since 2005 that this will be the worst hurricane season ever? :lol:

:lol::lol:

It's the apocalypse! Everybody scream and go cower in fear in your doomsday bunkers!

The thing about screaming fire is the public wants to see that fire, NOW. The pause has destroyed the all creditability global warming had. Skooks is right has people generally don't care about the reasons why they can't see the fire at the moment within the time frame of their short attention spans.

We need a top 3 Abrahams are we better just stop. Hurting science in general too much.

Very, very well.

Do YOU understand that recorded temperatures are not the ONLY WAY we know what the climate was like before humans kept records of the climate and weather?

Apparently you do not.

Would you like any of us to explain the many ways that scientists do this or are you happier mired in your profound ignorance?

Those like Whitehall are exceeding proud of their profound ignorance, and work extremely hard at maintaining that state. Wouldn't matter if their decisions based on that ignorance would only affect them.

Now silly ass Frankie, were you to listen to real scientists, rather than charlatans pushing ideas like a hollow moon, perhaps you would not come across as so damned stupid.
