Does the modern world of commercial conveniences (e.g., Amazon, Burger King, eTrade, Facebook, etc.) make you feel worried about destiny dragons?

"We live in a world of great commercial conveniences created by capitalism and trade labyrinths. Mercantilism is facilitated by computers and globalized commerce. Such convenience-oriented lifestyle can give rise to great gluttony and moral apathy and even avarice and sloth. We might imagine that underworld 'messengers' like Dark Phoenix (a siren of lust) and Jason Voorhees (a vagrancy-punishing psycho) become 'civilization deities' reminding us of the dangers of hasty atheism. How do we coordinate this modern 'world of bistros' with the problem of paranoia-diarism (e.g., Law & Order)?"

"The modern city is a hub of great traffic and activity, and today, anti-capitalism terrorists (e.g., ISIS) believe that the American city is a symbol of great civilization pride/vanity, worthy of destruction or even punishment. The trauma of 9/11 delivered home that cumulative message, and the Trump Administration is working with groups in the Middle East to resolve Israel-Palestine issues that affect the world's optimism towards America's leadership in modern global trade/commerce. The modern American city is therefore a site of great intrigue and danger."

"Of course, when we visit Olive Garden restaurants this Valentine's Day, the only thing we're thinking about is sharing a hot plate of delicious spaghetti with someone we love. We're not concerned about anti-capitalism terrorism, the looming threat of degrading morality in a modern world of consumerism conveniences, or about the presence of 'dark forces' inciting us to forms of lust and sloth (e.g., Fight Club). We're only thinking about the lifestyle joys that American capitalism brings to us and to our loved ones. This makes any kind of moral crusade truly challenging."

"There's nothing wrong with philosophically-challenging Atheism and its brands of lifestyle-based formal logic. However, if today's youngsters entreat a very 'liberal' form of atheistic lifestyle-philosophy, based mostly on the commerce/consumerism oriented convenience based gluttony/sloth described earlier, we'll discover that atheism has become a 'blanket' for all kinds of social apathy. We might then consider images/stories of today's radical youngsters engaging in various forms of activism and metaphysics-meditation and brood about how commerce is affecting the way we conceive of diaries."

"Imagine you're enjoying a dish of zesty spaghetti on Valentine's Day with your beautiful girlfriend/fiancee and you're suddenly visited by the mystical spirit of an ominous 'red dragon' who compels you to think about how consumerism-conveniences enabled you to quickly pick up a spaghetti-order from Olive Garden (which you pre-ordered online on your iPhone!) and bring it back to your Manhattan loft in time for wine-and-dinner time. This great Red Dragon might ask you if you're thinking seriously about lust in this time of wondrous social activity(!)."

ph12.jpg

"You might retort to this great Red Dragon that you believe you and your girlfriend/fiancee are like passionate/religious 'Centurions' who stand for patriotic enthusiasm towards the amenities in life that capitalism offers to American citizens today(!). You might tell the Red Dragon that you have every intention to stand against the 'dark forces' of moral apathy with your girlfriend (and your pet cat/bird!) and claim that America is a place of great adventure. However, will you worry about the presence of disease?"

"After all is said and done, this modern 'world of bistros' invites you to consider both the spiritual intrigue of capitalism temperance and the moral dangers of lifestyle-conveniences/amenities. To ward off the dark spirits of adversarial omens such as Dark Phoenix, Jason Voorhees, Pinhead (Hellraiser), and the Harlot of Babylon (a siren of indulgences), we might consider how to balance luxury with good storytelling(!). After all, we Americans are 'expected' to be civilization 'diplomats' of ethics-diarism, right?"

DARK PHOENIX: American capitalism is like a cauldron!
JASON: There's much room for lust and sloth...
DARK PHOENIX: We must sift through the layers of frills!
JASON: There's a need for great evangelism, perhaps...
DARK PHOENIX: Does Olive Garden protect Americans from vice?
JASON: If Americans meditate on blessings, then convenience is fine!
DARK PHOENIX: We don't want Burger King culture to become 'greasy.'
JASON: No; we're interested in mighty moralism...
DARK PHOENIX: American housewives engage in adultery with pizza-boys!
JASON: Yes, pizza delivery-boys are 'entreated' by suburban 'covens.'
DARK PHOENIX: That's the challenge --- to ward off the 'danger-ovens.'
JASON: Maybe there will be more 'doomsday storytellers.'
DARK PHOENIX: Maybe 'TrumpUSA' will become a beacon of democracy!

TL/DR - but the first bit betrays an incredible amount of incoherence.
