Been rewatching Red Dwarf and starting season 7 last night the first episode included the line, during dinner, "Chicken's good." - "Ya ya, it's pretty good." - "That isn't chicken." - "What is it?" - "It's that man we found." stunned silence and cessation of eating... "What?!" - "Well it seemed like such a waste just leaving here there when he'd barbeque so beautifully." "I figured, that if humans eat chickens, then they'd eat their own species. Otherwise they'd just be picking on the chickens."
