It is a no-brainer! States could raise much-needed additional revenue at the end of each year with a "Fat One"!

Maybe the Massachusetts Lottery should rename the Megabucks Doubler every December and call it, "The Fat One"? As it is a national game available across the US, it would be a great success.

'El Gordo' is also a "Fat One" for the Spanish Government

The tax on this year's Christmas lottery prizes will generate 188 million euros for state coffers, according to tax inspectors union Gestha.

The Spanish government will also get 30 per cent of the revenues from ticket sales, less the running costs, meaning the state will collect around 900 million euros from the draw.

As the population of the US, 320 million, is many times that of Spain, 47 million, image how much US states could raise from an America "Fat One"?
