That story is another hoax.
They wanted documents to preserve his presidential history. He contacted them to make sure it happened according to normal protocol.
Considering the fact that Trump worked from Mar lago....there was bound to be some documents they would want, including letters and other correspondence. This is just another case of the fake news spinning a lie to get everyone worked up. Expect to hear this kind of crap every time they need to change the subject on Biden's latest screw-ups.:
