For all those who say "you don't need a gun, just call the police", here are some real facts:
From 2013 to 2017, 3,885 criminals were killed in justifiable homicides, i.e. "the killing of a felon during the commission of a felony".
Police accounted for 58%, while civilians were responsible for dispatching 42% of these felons.
If these 1,629 people had just "called the police", chances are they'd be dead - and 1600+ criminals would have lived to kill again.
