I believe that the states are the ones that can shutdown, reopen, require masks, contract tracing, and other rules. The blue states are not really wanting anything from the federal government, other than money.

Myself, I don't need either the fed or the state to help me. I wash my hands, stay away from people, wear a mask, pretty simple and easy, not sure why we would need direction from the feds. Really, if we really want to save lives, we should be masking up all the time and prevent a lot of other deadly diseases from spreading and help prevent the 40,000-80,000 flu deaths a year and prevent spreading TB.

They are a private business. They can make any rules they want within our laws.

Right now no one can go to Hawaii without a covid test that proves they are negative for the virus that's no more than 72 hours old.

If Ticketmaster wants to do that they have the right to within our laws.

But it really shouldn't just be for shows. Much less invasive than including a microchip with every shot and then having to buy - from the government? - spendy chip reading devices for every store, school, library, public building, polling place.......
