Not quite. They were arrested for making false statements to the FBI. Now there will be an investigation to determine whether or not additional charges will be added in connection with the bombing.

None of the three is suspected of having advance knowledge of the plot or participating in the planning of the bombing.

The news of more arrests came after it emerged Saudi Arabia reportedly sent a written warning to the US about Boston Marathon suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev last year and refused him entry to the country over security concerns.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia wrote to the US Department of Homeland Security about the older Tsarnaev brother in 2012, a senior Saudi official says.

Lot of good that did anyway - NONE. Seems none of this stuff - Patriot Act, Watch Lists, "sharing information" did anything to dissolve the 'stovepipes' we all read about after 9/11. None of that stuff protected the US from this attack, or the Underwear Bomber plot, or any of these other jerks like the Times Square bomber either. A tee-shirt vendor called cops on the Times Square vehicle that was smoking. THAT'S IT! The Private Sector helped out - not any of these so-called 'agencies'. Hell, even Saudi didn't matter, did it?

What rights? Those went out the window years ago. Privacy? Gone. We'd have more privacy
in European countries. Even the banks there are reigned in so they don't fook with customer data. They don't publish private matters online like everyone does in the US. US corporations and entities are fools, and citizens who allow all of this (it's gone for good!) are sheep.
